With fourteen games under his belt, John Tavares is definitely getting off the gate much faster than Steven Stamkos did last season. Tavares has 5 goals and 6 assists for 11 points and is slowly gaining chemistry with Kyle Okposo and Josh Bailey. This three-some should make the Islanders relevant again, especially as the Islanders start adding more support and skill.
